Welcome to Susrutha Ayurveda super speciality Ano-rectal centre was a dream project of Prof. Dr. B. SatyaNarayana. It was established in 1986. At present, it is one of the leading ano-rectal centers in India. 36 years of dedicated quality service in the field has placed the institute at a height, few can reach.
During the past 36 years, more than one lakh patients of various ano-rectal diseases including recurrent complex high anal fistulas and many cases of recto-vaginal fistulas have been treated with significant success, a rare feat which very few ano-rectal hospitals can claim.
We adopted different Conservative treatments, modified Para surgical and surgical procedures based on the principles of Ayurveda. We are mapping the Ayurveda described diseases with modern science and taking advantage technology of Sonography, MRI classification where ever necessary.
The Ksharasutra, a medicated cutting seton therapy and other ano-rectal surgical procedures are practiced in India since times immemortal. Late Prof. Dr. P. J. Deshpande was revived, modified and standardized the ksharasutra procedure. The Ksharasutra therapy is a unique treatment for fistulas which is slowly gaining popularity globally.
The Susrutha ano-rectal Ayurveda centre is headed by Dr. B. SatyaNarayana, Retired Professor, PG Department of Shalyatanra, Dr. B.R.K.R. Govt. Ayurvedic College, Hyderabad, Department of AYUSH, Govt. of Telangana. He served 30 years in government as a Medical officer, Asst. Professor, Associate Professor and Professor. He has had vast experience of working exclusively in the field of ano-rectal diseases since more than 36 years. He is a resource person for promoting and propagating this unique treatment of Ksharasutra therapy. He actively participated in state level and national level workshops on ksharasutra. He has guided many postgraduate scholars. He is examiner to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Nasik university of health sciences, Dr. NTR University of health sciences, KNR university of health sciences and Amritha University.
